With the release of his brand new joint The R.E.D. Album, Game is currently the No. 1 chart-topper this week selling nearly 100k with 98,000 copies in his debut week according to Nielsen Soundscan. He closely beat out his arch nemesis Jay-Z and Kanye West for the top spot this week. This is Game’s first No. 1 album in nearly six years which features Compton’s own Lex Luger, Tyler, The Creator and Game’s mentor Dr. Dre.

As mentioned, Jay & West follow right behind only 5,000 units at No. 2 with their smash collab effort Watch The Throne. Selling 94,000 units in just their third week on the charts, Yeezy & Hov continue to create dominating numbers selling a total of 707,000 records so far. Did I mention it’s only been three weeks?!

Jay’s Bey fell out of the Top 10 this week to No. 12 with her latest project entitled 4. Beyonce managed to sell 21,000 copies this past week giving her a total of 700,000 units; so much for a fall-off!

At No. 15, despite dropping two spots, is Royce Da 5’9” and Eminem aka Bad Meets Evil with their collab effort Hell: The Sequel. The Detroit duo managed to move 18,000 units this past week and now have a total of 481,000 copies as they push towards gold status.

Climbing back into the Top 20 by a massive 17-slot-push is Rihanna with her 2010 release Loud. RiRi moved 15,000 units this past week giving her already-platinum total a bigger shove to 1,433,000 records to date. Safe to say 1.5 milly isn’t too far out of the picture.

Detroit’s own and G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean pushes for 200k with his debut Finally Famous. After moving 6,600 units this week, Sean now sits at 196,000 copies thus far.

Ace Hood saw a dramatic drop as his Blood, Sweat & Tears project fell 28 slots to No. 61. The Miami MC sold 6,200 units last week and now has 43,000 records to his total.

No. 83 is owned by the Ferrari Boyz themselves Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka Flame. The Brick Squad 1017 duo managed to cross the 25k mark selling 4,800 units giving them a total of 28,000 records sold.

Odd Future’s leader Tyler, The Creator leaps an impressive 96 slots this past week to No. 96 with his mainstream debut Goblin. Selling 4,100 units, Tyler now has 108,000 records sold.

Lastly, is Royce Da 5’9” again, this time as a solo effort with his self-proclaimed “last album on an independent label” enitled Success Is Certain. Royce moved 2,600 units last week and now has 23,000 records sold total.
Well, well, well….can the other Mr. Carter (Lil’ Wayne) make a stand-out performance for that No. 1 spot next week with his highly-anticipated The Carter IV?
