Official: Aston Martin AM 310 Vanquish Photos Leaked
It’s official(well, just about)!!! It’s been a few weeks now that we’ve heard of Aston Martin’s newly-developed sports coupe that’s set to take over where the DBS leaves off at the end of the year. Our first introduction of the coupe came in Italy in concept form & dubbed as the Project AM 310. Next, a day or so after the unveiling of the concept model, we’re exposed to a spy clip of another Aston Martin model that bared the Vanquish name plate, which was covered inside a trailer outside of Aston Martin’s headquarters in England.
Now, we’re exposed to what is believed to be a complete street car, in which we have word that Aston Martin plans to name this vehicle the AM 310 Vanquish. As Aston Martin is set to celebrate their 100th anniversary, they want a vehicle that celebrates both the foundation of the brand and project the direction the brand is heading into the future. As of now, the only specifications of the Vanquish made available are that this vehicle will boast a 6.0-liter V12 that produces 565 horsepower while mated to a “Touchtronic” six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
Other notes we can take on the AM 310 Vanquish are that this vehicle will utilize carbon fiber body panels like the One-77 super coupe, and customers will have the option of having either a tw0-seat or a 2+2 seating configuration, and more trunk space will be offered(up to 13 cubic feet). As far as the release date for the Vanquish, European customers can pick up their vehicles as early as the end of this year at a price tag of around $298,000. News on when U.S. deliveries of the Vanquish will be released in the coming months…
