New Cars: Bugatti Veyron Super Sport Vitesse
Just when we thought the Bugatti Veyron saga was over, it looks like we will be introduced to yet another special edition of the world’s most powerful production vehicle. If you’re not familiar with the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, well the only major detail to make note of is the fact that this particular version of the Veyron sports a targa top(like the Grand Sport model) & 200 extra horsepower from the orginal Veyron’s 8.0-liter quad-turbo W-16 engine(up to 1,200 hp from 1,000 hp).
Now that the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland is right around the corner, the famed automaker is set to unveil this new variant of the Veyron Super Sport. This particular model is titled the Veyron Super Sport Vitesse, and if the name gives any indication, you can be sure that this is a sexy yet brutally fast automobile. According to Bugatti CEO Wolfgang Durheimer(also the head of the Volkswagen Group), the success of the original Veyron Super Sport led to the development of this beautiful vehicle we see here(pictured below).
Other than the information that’s been shared already, there’s not much more we know about the Veyron Super Sport Vitesse. So we should expect to have more information about this sick automobile once the Genenva Motor Show kicks off in March…
