Maserati Teams Up With Fendi To Build Special Edition GranCabrio Coupe
We are far from seeing the collaborations between automakers & fashion labels diminishing, and the “far” seems just that… far, far away. I can go on for days listing the number of automaker/designer brand collaborations that have been done and/or are still in existence, but Italian car brand Maserati is set to unveil a very special version of their GranCabrio(known in America as the GranTurismo Convertible) at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Maserati GranCabrio will get “donned” by the touch of Fendi by presenting the GranCabrio Fendi edition coupe next month in Frankfurt. The coupe will receive a special dark grey paint that has small golden flakes to represent Fendi’s trademark hue, along with special leather for the interior, as well as wood trimming throughout the cabin. And to top off the package of the Fendi edition coupe, there’s a Fendi leather luggage set that comes with the car.
Each Maserati GranCabrio Fendi coupe will be individually numbered, making the case that there’s only a handful of these smooth rides being made. If you want to see more of this “womanizer” in detail, you’re gonna have to wait a while until the Frankfurt Motor Show begins on September 8th.
