Beats For The Block: 2012 @Dodge Challenger Adds 18-Speaker, 900 Watt Stereo System
The Dodge Challenger has been a hit on the streets since it was reintroduced in 2008, and everybody’s been heavy on the HEMI-powered versions, especially the SRT edition. But for 2012, Dodge not only offers beautiful music from the motor, but you now have the option to beat up the block with their 900 watt Harman/Kardon stereo upgrade that includes 18 speakers(seven 3.5-inch mid-range speakers with seven integrated tweeters, two 6×9-inch speakers, & two 10-inch subwoofers in the trunk). The 18 speakers are powered by a 32-volt 12-channel Class D amplifier, which should be enough to make your Challenger sound like a concert when you drive up the street to show off for that PYT standing at the bus stop. The stereo upgrade for the 2012 Challenger adds an extra $1,995 to the sticker price, which is more than worth it, because if you tried to add your own system it’ll probably cost twice that amount or even more.
